Day 2
- Color: The colors used in this piece are vibrant and bold. The neon orange and various shades of blue highlight the main focus of the image. The image is very earthy and free. I love the darker green colors along with the light blue sky.
- Texture: The texture of this image seems a little rough but smooth.
- Subject: This images subject revolves around childhood and earth. There is a young child with a chicken which can be seen as calming and free-spirited. On the other hand, there's a tie or leash on the child's wrist and the string is connected to the chicken. That brings a whole different aspect to the meaning of the image. A child is trapped.
- Meaning: The meaning is to live while you are still a child. Don't get tied up and grouped with certain things in life. Don't let other people take a hold of you.

Describe your work:
My work is inspired by an NCMA art piece called ¨Little girl with Chicken¨. The goal for this work was to show the connection the little girl has with her chicken. She´s clearly very attached to this chicken, so attached that she has a leash around its neck.
Analyze your work:
To add texture to my work, I used different brushes to create texture in the little girls hair and in the chickens hair. I added darker colors over the chicken to create a realistic feel to it.
Interpret your work:
The mood of my work is en-lightning yet depressing. The little girl is so overly attached to this animal and to me, the mood can be very gloomy. On the other hand, it can be inspiring. She relyś on something so deeply and has such a deep love for a beautiful creature.
Judge the work:
I could´ve spent more time on the little girls face but I wanted it to look like the image. There isn´t a lot of detail in the image so I did not add much detail.
