Describe: Describe your piece. What was the process for making it? (2-3 sentences)
For my piece, I made a lot of pendants. To make the pendants, I rolled a ball onto the palm of my hand, smoothed it out, then created my design onto the surface.
Analyze: How does your piece use form, line, texture, or balance?
I let the clay sit out until leatherhard to create my pieces so that I could add texture to it. I did not want a smooth surface, so I created cracks and lines onto the clay for texture purposes.
Interpret: Do you feel like your plan and your end result are similar? Did your idea change as it developed?
I went over the 15 piece amount but other than that, I feel as though my pieces were similar. I love old-looking jewelry and I incorporated that into my sketches and onto my final pieces. As I created more and more pieces, I was inspired by my own work and went off of that.
Judge: Do you feel you were successful in your piece/s? Why or why not? (2 sentences)
I feel as though what I have created was successful. I tried different techniques and different textures and I would say my overall work turned out well. I had a lot of fun doing this project.
